ugh, underblushing is a thing now

Seriously, underblushing? Who even thought it would be a good idea to smear blush on your face only to hide it underneath your foundation like some sort of weird, pointless beauty secret? I mean, it’s like burying treasure and then complaining that you can’t find it. Why bother putting on makeup if it’s just going to be obscured by another layer, like some kind of cosmetics inception? It’s just so frustrating that we can’t simply stick to what makes sense without turning it into another ridiculous beauty trend.

If I see one more person suggesting to go through this futile ritual to achieve a ‘glow-from-within’ look, I’m going to shout. Really loud. Just put on some blush over the foundation like a sane person. Why make life harder by deliberately hiding what you want to show? If anything, it seems designed purely to sell more products because now you need extra items so you can pretend you naturally look like you spent all day frolicking in the sun when realistically, in reality, most of us are just trying not to fall asleep at work. Yes, this is the actual world we live in.

And let’s not get started on these bloggers who act like they’ve discovered some groundbreaking new technique to eternal beauty when really it’s just makeup plus delusion mashed together. The whole thing is just another way to keep everyone feeling inferior unless they jump through these nonsensical hoops that don’t actually matter at all. Ugh. Whatever.
