I just saw someone try to curl their hair with a clothes iron on TikTok. Seriously, who does that? But apparently, a lot of people do. Whatever happened to using an old-fashioned curling iron? Or, you know, not turning your hair into toast while trying to achieve those beachy waves?

Anyway, TikTok is this endless rabbit hole of beauty hacks. Some are just outrageous, like the toothpaste on acne trick. Have you ever tried that? I have, and all I got was weird minty-smelling, red blotches instead of the promised clear skin. (Spoiler: Consistent skincare routines work better.)
And then there are these supposed hygiene tips every girl must know. One of them involves using lemon juice to brighten armpits. Yep, you heard right: turning your armpits into a potential citrus peel-off experience. The things we do in the name of beauty, huh?

Ah, and let’s not forget the weird hair tricks. Like the one where you section your hair with chopsticks before blow-drying. Yeah, sounds pretty doable if you randomly have chopsticks lying around. Or if you want to impress your cat with your new ‘hairstick’ skills. Convenience at its peak (or not).
So, has anyone tried that deodorant as primer tip? That’s the one where you use clear roll-on deodorant as a makeup primer. Because, you know, why not take multitasking to the level of absolute chaos? I mean, my pores would probably riot.
Don’t get me wrong, sometimes you find a gem in all these absurdities. But omg, my eyes still hurt from watching people squirt soy sauce into their mascara to make it ‘waterproof’. I need coffee. Ugh.
